The Cinque Terre

We caught a train from eastern Italy to the Cinque Terre. This is a national park in Italy consisting of 5 little villages on the rugged coast, only accessible for by train or on foot by punters like us. We found it was full of Americans, and not much else. But it was beautiful nonetheless.

We managed to find a lovely apartment for 50 euro a night, and stayed 2 nights there, meaning we had a full day to explore the place. We spent that day walking along thtough 4 of the 5 villages, and caught the train back to Riomaggiore, the village we were staying in.

Riomaggiore.

The last town we visited, something beginning with V.

Pretty stunning, hey?
